“One of the best rim protectors and rebounders in the state.” -Coach Joshua Berry
VYPE: What do your teammates and this team mean to you?
Kirkendoll: My team/teammates mean a lot to me they are like my family, and I know everyone says their teammates are like family… but mine really are there is nothing that could break our bond, we argue sometime, laugh sometimes but at the end of the day it’s all love.
VYPE: When you hear coach Berry call you an unsung hero of this team, what do you think about when you hear that and how do you define that term?
Kirkendoll: To be the unsung hero on the team is pretty much the person that doesn’t get the praise after the win even though the team falls back/relies on that person even if the team or crowd doesn’t know.
VYPE: What grade are you in and what are your plans after you graduate?
Kirkendoll: I am a senior this year. After I graduate, I plan on going to college for psychology and hope that I can either play basketball or do track at the next level.
