VYPE: What are your personal goals this year and how is the season going?
Kelsi: Some of my personal goals I would like to achieve this year would be that I train really hard in the weight room and focus on my defense in slow pitch. The season has started off good and we are focusing on building strength and working together.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Kelsi: In this past year I have been building new friendships and creating fun memories in softball and track.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?
Kelsi: Coach Shelli Brown has become one of my favorite coaches because she’s believed in me and has encouraged me to be the athlete, I know I can be.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Kelsi: One of my favorite athletic memories was when we played at the World Series, and I got to meet Jennie Finch.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Kelsi: Avery Tanner has left a big impression on me to stay positive and be the loudest person on the team.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Kelsi: I have never seen anyone impersonate Coach Brown but If I had to pick someone that I think could impersonate her I think Nataley would. The first person that comes to mind that always says something funny and random during games would be Mikena.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Kelsi: The place I would go to during summer vacation would be Greece and I would take my family and some of my close friends.
VYPE: If we gave you 500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Kelsi: I would go and buy some new gym equipment and I would go and buy tons of smoothies.
