Rafi: I am in ninth grade.
VYPE: What event(s) do you compete in?
Rafi: I compete in the 800 meters, the 4×800 meter relay, and the two-mile. My favorite race is the two mile!
VYPE: What’s your best result at a meet?
Rafi: My best result for a meet was the two mile with a time of 11:51.
VYPE: What’s your favorite part about being on the track and field team?
Rafi: Getting to know more people and the excitement of racing! Plus, the coaches are great!
VYPE: Do you play any other sports?
Rafi: I also run cross country.
VYPE: Who’s someone on the team that pushes you to succeed?
Rafi: Taigh Wright and Conner Shipman.
VYPE: What are your goals for the future?
Rafi: Becoming a professional singer.
VYPE: If you could invite anyone in the world to watch you compete, who would you invite and why? Rafi: I would invite Steven Curtis Chapman because I enjoy his music.
