Charles Page High School senior Hayden Bristow has played football for nearly his entire life. Bristow said he started playing football at age five and has loved the game ever since.
Bristow is playing left tackle this season and handles the long-snapping duties on special teams. Being a Sandite means you step up and lead when it’s your time. Something head coach Bobby Klinck has instilled in his players. Bristow said taken on more of a leadership role with the team and is stepping up as a leader on and off the football field. He said it’s the biggest compliment he’s received.
“I was old I’ve done a great job stepping up and leading others around me not just at football,” said Bristow.
Bristow loves his team and teammates. The personalities on the team fit well together including those making people laugh and those who are always serious.
“Ayden Wadley keeps everyone laughing and the most serious is Dom Forbes,” said Bristow.
The senior said he prepares himself for games by watching film and locking in. He added, “don’t do anything stupid,” to that list.
Bristow also plays baseball and said his favorite subject in school is AP US Government. His favorite teacher is Mr. Cooper. It’s all part of what makes being a Sandite great.
“They give you many options of classes to help your future,” said Bristow.
His plan is to play at the next level and succeed in life while starting a family.
