Charles Page senior looks to help his team to a great season.
Golf is a sport you can play for a lifetime. Most of us enjoy taking a few hacks around a course while enjoying the company of a good friend. Charles Page High School’s Seth Benton certainly enjoys good company, but he also enjoys being the best golfer he can be.
“Seth is a senior this year. He is always grinding on the course, range, or putting green. I hope all his hard work pays off this year,” said head coach Matt Webb.
That passion for the game has developed over the last three years of Seth playing golf and representing the Sandites in tournaments.
Individual success is nice, but Seth wants his team to succeed just as bad.
“My teammates mean a lot to me, they help me with my game and encourage me to do better,” Seth said. “The thing I love the most about being a student-athlete is getting involved with my school.”
Away from the golf course you can usually find Seth hanging out with his friends.
