VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?

Madison: My goals for myself and also my team is to grow as an individual and as a team in my sport, through learning lessons as I play my sport, and gaining confidence in the chances I take. 

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year? 

Madison: The most fun I have had in the last year was when I got to experience my first mission trip to El Salvador in June and July. I was given the chance to meet so many new people, learn so many new things, and reach others through the love of Christ Jesus. 

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Madison: My favorite teacher was my 5th grade teacher, Mr. Adair, at my old elementary school in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He is my favorite because he would always tell my peers and I stories and was always able to make us laugh. He was always a very kind and compassionate person. 

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Madison: My favorite athletic memory is remembering how I felt once I was able to make my first Birdie on a Par 4 hole at the Sand Springs Golf Course, during a tournament my sophomore year. 

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why? 

Madison: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me was my former teammate, Meghan Charles, who graduated last year, and is now in college. She was always able to encourage me from the point of view of a close friend, and teammate. She inspires me every day. 

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games? 

Madison: There are only two of us girls on my golf team this year, but we are always able to enjoy playing golf together and can always make each other laugh. 

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you? 

Madison: For summer vacation, I would choose to go to Italy because of all of the amazing architecture, food, new experiences, and beautiful atmosphere. I would love to take my entire immediate family, my nana, my aunt, and also my childhood best friend! 

VYPE: If we gave you $500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Madison: If I was given $500 dollars to spend for the next 24 hours, I would most likely start with a spending plan. I would shop with some of the money for clothes and shoes, new running shoes, new books, give some to close friends/family and give some to church as tithe and offering.

Madison: I would just like to say thank you to all of my coaches, teachers, family, friends, and role models in my life who have inspired me to work hard, chase after my dreams, and be the best version of myself that I can be, and to continue to grow and learn every day.
