

VYPE: What are your goals for this season?
Khalil: To make an impact on the team and do whatever I can to make my team win.
VYPE: Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Khalil: Ja Morant because he’s explosive on the court and is a leader for his team.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Khalil: Mr. Dean from my 8th grade American History class he encouraged me, believed in me, and showed me that I could do greater things.
VYPE: Who do you look up to and why?
Khalil: God is the one I look up to because I wouldn’t be the man I would be today without him in my life.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Khalil: Blake Johnson because he encourages me and shows me how to lead.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Khalil: I think my favorite part about being on a team is having each others backs and working together to achieve things as a group.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Khalil: I’ve always wanted to go to the Bahamas and I would take my parents with me.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing basketball?
Khalil: I was about six years old when I started playing basketball and ever since then I never stopped playing it and I strived to get better and better. That’s what made me love the sport.
